Questions, bugs, corrections

One address for all of it. Replies usually arrive within a few days, because this is a small independent project rather than a support desk.

Email

Write to contact@wheelchairrampcalculator.com. Please put the page name in the subject line, for example “Correction: label size” or “Bug: print button”.

Requesting a correction

The tool only states what it can tie to an official source, so a correction is easiest to act on when it points at one. Include:

  • The URL of the page, and the sentence or checklist row you are questioning.
  • The official source you are relying on, with a link and the article, annex or paragraph number.
  • What the source says it should be instead, quoted or paraphrased closely.
  • The date you checked it, since consolidated texts change.

That is enough to compare the claim against the text and either fix the page or explain why the wording stands. Corrections that change a regulatory statement are reflected on the page and in its sources table.

Reporting a bug

For something that does not work, include the browser and version, the steps you took and any error text word for word. The tool runs locally, so a screenshot of the draft label and the answers that produced it is usually enough to reproduce the problem.

Reproducible bugs can also go to github.com/pantha704, but email reaches the project directly.

What this address cannot do

It cannot classify your product, approve a label or give legal advice, and it will not pretend to. Those questions belong to your supplier, who holds the SDS and the formulation, and to your trading-standards authority. The FAQ explains why the tool stops where it does.

Do not send a full SDS or a confidential formulation unless you are comfortable emailing it. A product name, the statement codes and the answer you expected are normally enough to investigate a bug.
